 Newton Maiden


Newton Maiden is 5 miles away from Evershot and is an old market town that offers an interesting mix of old and new. There is a rich biodiversity in the area which makes it a very fascinating place for those on nature trails.

For history buffs, there is the church of St. Mary which dates back to Anglo-Saxon settlements and bears the marks of a number of wars. There are also excellent transport links should you like to visit Weymouth, Bristol or Bath.

Yeovil


Just 8 miles from Evershot is Yeovil. Situated on the cusp of South Somerset, Yeovil boasts a number of attractions. Nearby is the National Trust property of Montacute House. A late Elizabethan mansion that is surrounded by beautiful greenery, it truly is a stunning piece of English architecture that deserves to be seen up close.
